Stumbled upon this gem in Soho with a buddy of mine who runs boutique hotels. I have not been as surprised as I am in this experience. One of the staff members, Chiara, was astonishingly, attentive, dedicated, and one of the best service providers I’ve seen. Worthy of a visit.
Came here for some masterfully constructed, beautifully presented twists on old classic cocktails. The peanut butter and corn old fashioned was perfectly balanced and thankfully not overly sweet. And the penicillin was as good as any I’ve had. Very calming ambience and a great place to come to for quiet conversation and a no-nonsense drink to wind down.
We came to Henson's bar for a quick drink before our theatre show and were pleasantly surprised. The bar is situated in the middle of Soho, it has a dark wood bar with plenty of tables for drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive and gave us great recommendations for drinks based on our preferences The old-fashioned cocktail was perfect balance between the sharpness of the whisky with the sweetness of the sugar. To top it off the Olives tasted amazing and complimented the drinks perfectly. I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good drink!
Been here several times just for a drink- great cocktail list and they will also take requests. Love the atmosphere, its clean and never too busy. Prices are around 14 for cocktail so not bad for central London. Really good place for a drink before theatre or dinner. Will be back :)
My favourite bar in central London for a casual drink and a good time. They specialise in classic cocktails, but also have amazing signature drinks as well. They serve small bites too, in case you want to have some food with your drinks. The staff is always extremely polite and do everything they can to give you the best experience possible. 10/10 would recommend
I was here with my friends and I had such a nice time! The cocktail “Truffle in paradise” was amazing, really unique. Also the atmosphere was nice, the music and especially the team was really polite. I recommend this place! 10/10
Henson's is a hidden gem in Soho with some of the highest quality cocktails I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I picked Mimi's hotel to stay for our 5 day UK trip based on the reviews of Hensons Bar and Social and I was simply blown away. The space is moody and intimate- with staff that is dedicated to their crafts. We had tea in the mornings and were given wonderful recommendations on how to truly experience Soho (Thank you Tomasz!), and in the evenings we enjoyed the bar before dinner. Every cocktail was meticulously curated and delicious. I highly recommend the Passion Fruit Negroni, and the Olive Oil Pisco Sour. Tomasz, Matias, and Alek were exceptionally hospitable. Thank you for this beautiful experience!
I worked in the hotel that this bar is in long ago. I still come back every now and again to say hello and also to enjoy their excellent cocktails. This bar is where I started to learn about cocktails and quality drinks and learnt that they are more than alcohol mixed with sugar (if you go to a good bar). The menu has only gotten better with time and I went in yesterday to find the place buzzing at 5pm on a Wednesday. Service is good and the place isn't big so you won't be missed. I am slightly biased as the head bartender Francesco is someone I will always remember with good memories but I assure you that in the last few years I have travelled alot and know what an excellent bar is and you can have yourself a good drink here. Go and have a nice time it is intimate the bar is small but it's worth it. A hidden gem in Soho for sure. The other staff there were pretty friendly too.
